Our team of highly-qualified and attentive staff really focuses on the individual needs of our residents with a tailored care plan for each person. Background to this inspection
The provider made applications to the local authority to protect the rights of people living in the home in line with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Activities were provided for people to avoid social isolation and people had access to local community events. Individuals that have been diagnosed with dementia and are no longer able to live independently at home due to requiring specialist 24-hour care services.

There are strong links with local multi-disciplinary services, including orthotics, wheelchair, and SALT. We specialise in 24 hour postural management of complex disabilities and specialist seating, and run regular consultant and specialist, nurse-run review clinics. We reviewed a range of records including each person’s medication administration record , six people’s care plans and records relating to their care plans. In addition, we reviewed a range of records relating to the way the service is run.

We are located near the picturesque village of Chalfont St Peter. The last rating for this service was requires improvement , at the last inspection we made a recommendation, but there were no breaches of the regulations. At this inspection we found improvements had not been made and there were breaches of the regulations. This service has been rated requires improvement for the last four consecutive inspections.
People both over and under the age of 65 can be cared for at the home. The home offers a wide range of care for older people with dementia and physical disabilities. Treatments are residents and relative goal-centred and aim to manage the resident holistically. We use a wide range of modalities, such as exercise therapy, music therapy and physiotherapy (provided by our in-house physiotherapy team) to achieve personal benefits for those we support. We’re proud to provide high-quality nursing, residential, and dementia care as-well as respite care which you can book up to a year in advance.
